An amazing project:

The Geography of Youth is a project from Restless Collective, formed by Alan Winslow and Morrigan McCarthy. They are soon to be setting out on a 30,000 mile long bicycle journey around the world, documenting through photography what life is like for hundreds of twenty-somethings in over 50 countries. Their stories will be shared through digital postcards on the Geography of Youth website.

That’s what I call a journey of a lifetime!

Wow - school is done!
Next step: big preparations for a three month long road trip, and before leaving this lovely rainy, cold city (it’s too cold for April!), we need to be sent off in style. David and I are hosting a going-away party mix CD swap. If you bring us a mix-CD for our trip, we’ll give you one in return!
Good idea, right?

when we were in the mountains

The last leg of our summer travels was one of the highlights - driving back home through our beloved Canadian countryside. We were fortunate enough to have friends to visit in Whistler, and my brother Clark and his girlfriend Nicole in Kelowna, B.C.

These are some of my favourite images from the mountains of British Columbia. We marveled at the magnitude of the mountains from the top of Whistler, the breathtaking views at Revelstoke, and the milky blue glacier water on the way to Jasper.

renegade san francisco

a new blog post about our 2011 road trip. It was a year ago when we were heading west towards the San Francisco and LA Renegade Craft fairs. All these photos but the last one were taken on 35mm film.

Fort Mason Festival Pavilion

This venue was amazing. The huge buildings right on the pier, the Saturday farmers market, the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library café which made great, great coffee.

The best thing about this show was being placed across from Love Jules Leather and meeting Jules and Josh, who live in Whistler, BC. Friends for life.
